License Types

Trial License​

The Trial License allows you to evaluate ITVDesk for a limited period (typically 15 days).

Entering activation serial number in ITVDesk

The trial license is available in both online and offline environments, making it suitable even for isolated or secured systems.

Trial activation modes:

  • Online Trial Activation When internet access is available, the trial license is activated automatically on first start.

  • Offline Trial Activation For isolated, secured, or air-gapped systems, a Trial License can also be activated offline, without direct internet access. Offline trial activation is performed in cooperation with the ITVDesk team. The user must contact ITVDesk support and send an Export Request File to request an offline trial activation file. This allows evaluation of ITVDesk in environments where external network communication is restricted or not permitted.

Characteristics:

  • Free of charge
  • Watermark may be present in the video output
  • Intended for evaluation and testing only
  • Maximum 2 IP cameras
  • Maximum 2 RTSP connections

After the trial period expires, a paid license must be activated to continue using the application.

Subscription Floating License​

The Subscription Floating License is based on an annual subscription and includes:

  • Full software functionality
  • Continuous software updates
  • Technical support during the subscription period

This license is designed for maximum flexibility when activated online.

Key characteristics:

  • Valid for one year (renewal required after expiration)
  • Can be transferred freely between computers
  • Suitable for dynamic environments and frequently changed hardware
  • Supports switching between operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
tip

When activated offline, this license becomes hardware-bound and cannot be transferred.

Life-Time Perpetual License​

The Life-Time Perpetual License is a one-time purchase that provides permanent access to the ITVDesk software.

Once activated, the license is bound to the hardware of the computer and remains valid even if:

  • The operating system is reinstalled
  • The ITVDesk application is reinstalled

The license is linked to core hardware components, including:

  • CPU
  • RAM
  • Hard drive
  • BIOS
  • Network card
  • Motherboard

This license is recommended for long-term installations where hardware changes are infrequent.
