Licensing Overview​

ITVDesk uses PC-based licenses that are associated with the hardware of the computer where the software is activated. A valid license must be installed before ITVDesk can operate without limitations.

Licensing is designed to be transparent and predictable, with clear rules depending on the selected license type and activation method.

Available License Types​

ITVDesk provides the following license models:

  • Trial License – free, time-limited evaluation
  • Subscription Floating License – annual subscription with flexible usage
  • Life-Time Perpetual License – one-time purchase associated with hardware

Each license type is designed for a different usage scenario, from evaluation and testing to long-term and enterprise deployments.

Activation Methods (Overview)​

ITVDesk supports two activation methods:

  • Online Activation
    Recommended for most users. Requires internet access and allows license mobility depending on the selected license type.

  • Offline Activation
    Intended for secure or isolated systems. Does not require internet access on the target system and permanently binds the license to the target computer.
